Eeeeeee!!!
My library has finally purchased the Ian Carmichael dramatizations of the Lord Peter Wimsey mysteries!  (As you see, this news is sending my punctuation into full Miss Climpson mode.)
I'm hoping to make time next week to see "Murder Must Advertise" (& then to see "Clouds of Witness" again -- one of my favorites).

Hooray!

These really are the best - Ian Carmichael is without peer.

We finished watching Clouds of Witness last night...then stayed up until almost 1 a.m. looking up various quotes, dates, etc. in those of the books we had at hand! (with a delay while I re-read the punting scene from Gaudy Night...) I still don't understand why they kept Mr. Grimethorpe alive at the end of the film, but other than that I quite enjoy it.

Have you seen 'The Unpleasantness at the Bellona Club'? That and Clouds of Witness are the two I have; must try and rouse out Murder must Advertise, which I remember from the first time it was shown.

Yes, I've seen 'The Unpleasantness at the Bellona Club', and part (but not all) of 'The Nine Tailors'. I'm trying to introduce Willow to the wonders of Dorothy Sayers..she decidedly did NOT like Whose Body (at least the part she read before giving up), but enjoyed the dramatization of 'Clouds of Witness'..so I've given her the book of 'The Unpleasantness at the Bellona Club'..we'll see if it works!
