First Attempt

I've been looking at this poor empty journal page, and thought it might be as well to put SOMETHING here to look at in case anyone happens by. Today I finally checked out Patrick O'Brian's "Master and Commander" from the library. I've spent years picking up his books in libraries and then putting them back on the shelf with great intentions to read them another day; I'm now wondering why, since I quite enjoy it so far.
