World War I -- novels
Aug. 23rd, 2004 06:31 pmI would like to call upon the assistance of the collective brain. For the library, I'm compiling a list of novels set during (or remembering) World War I. What follows is the list I have so far. The ones with an asterisk are ones that I haven't yet read, so any thoughts about them would be much appreciated. The library usually leans toward newer books in their booklists, but I may be able to slip in some classics also. If you can think of any other books which should be on this list, I would be very grateful for suggestions. Thank you!
Patricia Anthony. Flanders (1998)
Pat Barker. Regeneration trilogy: Regeneration, The Eye in the Door, The Ghost Road
Marc Dugain. The Officers' Ward (2000)
